General Information

  • MONOS Markets is a live outdoor event featuring market stalls, showcasing a variety of vendors specializing in halal products and services. The event aims to create a cultural experience on Market Street, Manchester, every 3rd Saturday of the month from March to October 2025.

    • Vendor Set Up: 6am - 9am

  • The events are free and open to the public, allowing attendees to explore and purchase products from various vendors offering halal goods.

  • We can expect 147.5k footfall on any given Saturday, according to the Manchester City Council website: https://www.manchester.gov.uk/directory_record/167266/market_street

    Alhamdulillah, we have experienced significantly more footfall, up to 200k per event day!

Vendor Information

  • To become a vendor, you need to fill out a booking form. Click here to get started.

  • Vendors can sell a wide range of products including fashion, beauty, fragrances, jewellery, food, desserts, gifting items, DIY crafts, homeware, non-perishables, books, kids’ items, services, and educational materials.

  • Food vendors must have the following:

    • Public Liability Insurance

    • Food Hygiene Certificate Level 2 or above

    • Food Hygiene Rating of 4* to 5* stars.

    • Outdoor Catering Form (this will be provided once you have booked)

Booking and Payment

  • 1. Select your Stall Type at https://www.monosmarkets.com/book

    2. Choose from ‘Standard: Shared Gazebo’ or ‘Premium: Non-Sharing Gazebo’

    3. Click ‘BOOK STALL’

    4. Fill in Booking Form online

    5. Make Full Payment Online.

    6. You will receive an automated Receipt and Confirmation of Stall Booking to your email.

    7. Our admin team will be in touch with you within 7 days of the Key Event Details and a Request for Documentation

  • Yes, of course. You purchase our Membership Package

  • You can pay directly online through our integrated STRIPE payment system.

  • There are no refunds if you cancel your booking. Full refunds are only provided if the event is cancelled by MONOS MARKETS or due to external circumstances such as a natural disaster.

Event Logistics

    1. Standard: Two 4ft x 2ft trestle tables in a 3m by 3m sized Gazebo shared with one other vendor. The tables will be set up in an L-shape. You may not change this shape or position.

    2. Premium: Four 4ft x 2ft trestle tables in a 3m by 3m sized Gazebo. This is for your exclusive use and will not host any other vendor within the Gazebo. You can design the layout of Gazebo as you wish.

  • As the event is held outdoors, there is no Wi-Fi, water or storage. Vendors must purchase Power from our store only.

  • Vendors need to submit the following documentation once they have submitted their booking and payment.

    Documents can include:

    1. Public Liability Insurance

    2. Food Hygiene Certificate Level 2 (and above)

    3. Food Hygiene Rating Certificate

  • Yes.

    For 1 Item - £800 per event

    For 2 Items - £1,200 per event

    For 3 Items - £1,600 per event

    These are for single products, menu items. For example: Strawberries and Chocolate is classified as 1 Item.

    PLEASE NOTE: As Market Street is vast and diverse with many access points, we do not recommend booking exclusivity. As a company, we monitor the number of stalls in each category.

    For example, if you sell the popular Dubai Chocolate, we will only allow 1 vendor per section selling the same item. This is the fairest way and allows to keep your costs low.

    We as a company do not oversubscribe on any item. This ensures fairness across the events. However, if you do feel that you would like your Item to be Exclusive, you will be given an opportunity once booked via email.

Parking and Access

  • There is no Parking available directly on Market Street as it is a pedestrian-only shopping Street. There is a range of secure NCP Car Parks located within 3-5 minutes walking distance.

    • High St, Nicholas Croft, Manchester M4 1AZ

    • 77 Hanover St, Shudehill, Manchester M4 4BB

    • Church St, Manchester M4 1LX

  • Loading is located from the top of Market Street near Tim Hortons, Primark and PureGym. Load only from this entrance. This is a one-way loading street. Once you have finished unloading, you must drive to the bottom of Market Street near Boots and load out from this exit point.

  • Once you have finished loading between 6am - 9am, you must remove your vehicle by driving out of the street and exit after Boots and Costa Coffee. Please park in the NCP Car Parks which are within walking distance.
